A coffee shop issues

This morning I went out for Starbucks Latte with our buddy Melissa, whom I haven’t seen in a pretty long time, we decided to have a lunch date since all of our kids would be in university & the people I was with and I could have a leisurely lunch at our local Starbucks Latte shop. It’s a beautiful fall afternoon, & the people I was with and I both had on jeans & sweaters, since the outside temperature has finally started to drop & get cooler. Well, the man in charge of the temperature control inside the Starbucks Latte shop apparently did not get the memo about the outdoor temperature, because the inside air quality in there was just crazy. We walked in the door & the air conditioning immediately hit us in the face! I couldn’t guess that they had the A/C cranked up & running full blast in the Starbucks Latte shop on this cool & crisp Autumn afternoon… Melissa & I were absolutely cheerful that the people I was with and I had on sweaters & jeans because the temperature in there had to be set somewhere in the mid-sixties. I started to wonder if maybe they had the temperature control set so low because they were trying to sell extra Starbucks Latte & chai teas in order to hot the patrons up! I don’t know, but when it’s fall outside, you absolutely want to go somewhere cozy & sip on your Starbucks Latte & have a leisurely lunch! You don’t want your teeth to be chattering from an overabundance of air conditioning! Melissa & I ended up leaving & heading to a park down the street instead, and at least outside, the temperature wasn’t quite as cold!
