I had an old buddy of mine who was a sort of handyman.
He would do just about anything plus could do it well, whether it was repairing an appliance or some other odd job he found.
That guy passed up a number of well paying, full time careers so he could be free to do his own thing. My buddy always said that he found what he did to be far more interesting because every day was filled with different jobs and skill sets. He lived in a seasoned trailer with no real Heating, Ventilation & A/C. Even still, he was the happiest person I have ever come across. My life is much different, I go to work at an office building that I spent a lot of money on education to get. I go home to a luxury condo with an amazing heating and cooling system. If something breaks, I don’t even attempt to fix it. I know my strengths, and repairing things is not one of them! Ever since I moved to a new state, I rely on a local handyman to do all my household projects plus repairs. This guy reminds me of my buddy in his delight of life. I just appreciate being around him because he is so positive. Often, when he is finishing up, we’ll laugh and chat over a beer while soaking up the Heating, Ventilation & A/C in the residing room. The guy can do just about anything plus do it undoubtedly well. So, it was quite surprising the first time I asked for his assistance and was met with a no. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C was acting weird so I asked him to have a look. Not only did he decline, but he was firm in his explanation. Heating, Ventilation & A/C repairs is something that only trained, certified professionals should attempt.
