At that point, I decided to check on the AC thermostat.
When is the very worst time for your AC equipment to stop working? I can easily tell you that the answer is summer. My husband and I have for young boys. They are all under ten years of age, and that is a lot of work. Two of the boys have baseball practice after school every day, and two of the boys play soccer and basketball. During the school year, things can be very busy and hectic. The summer is the only time when I truly get a break. All of the boys like spending time with their friends, so they don’t sign up for any summer interests programs. Most of the day they spend riding their bike in the neighborhood. I know a lot of the other parents, and my kids hang out with their kids. Sometimes all of the boys are at my house and sometimes they are somewhere else. Last weekend, all of the boys were having dinner at my house. My husband had the youngest to boys with him at the grocery store. I had six boys in the house when the AC equipment stopped working. I didn’t know the AC equipment stopped on till one of the kids started to complain. At that point, I decided to check on the AC thermostat. Sure enough, the temperature in our home had risen to a warm 78°. I still have the thermostat set for a much lower temperature, and I knew something was wrong with our AC equipment. I called my husband on the phone and told him to hurry home. I didn’t know how long the boys would stay calm with no cool air.
