Central cooling makes a large improvement to condo comfort

When I bought our home, it was equipped with a forced air heating plan but no air conditioning! In the are where I live, central cooling isn’t particularly necessary… Our Summer season lasts a maximum of several weeks and is occasionally freezing and rainy, then however, all of us can occasionally get hot and cold temperatures in the high nineties with excessive humidity.

I figured our family could get by with portable cooling systems and box fans… My partner and teenagers constantly complained about being too hot and having trouble sleeping at evening.

My partner hated the look the of the portable cooling systems, and he sad about the security risk of the open windows. I was reluctant to spend the currency to purchase and install central cooling, and was upset about the added running costs. I only agreed to the update into central cooling because our local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation ran a special promotion which included a manufacturer’s rebate; Because the ductwork was already in locale, the upgrade project was not all that lavish. Once the cooling system was up and running, I was amazed by the improvement in the comfort of our home. Even when the weather outside is fairly mild, I still operate the fan of the cooling system to circulate the indoor air and keep the condo feeling fresh. The cooling system filters contaminants out of the air and helps to combat humidity. Every one of us now keep the windows securely closed and locked, which has reduces the influx of bugs, exhaust fumes, pollen and exterior noises. The house stays cleaner, and our family sleeps better at evening.
