Even the chickens need some Wintertide comfort

I thought my Dad was going to blow a gasket last winter.

  • My dad told her that she was going to get an Heating, Ventilation and A/C plan for the barn.

She couldn’t understand why she needed to install an Heating, Ventilation and A/C plan into the barn for the pets. She said that for the last twenty years they had been wonderful without any heating or A/C. They were pets plus they didn’t need a lot of heat. She thought that as long as they had shelter from the elements, they would be okay. My dad agreed with her plus she told her the heating was for him. I wanted to be able to toil in the barn without getting frostbite. When dad got older she no longer handled the freezing so well. I had noticed him rubbing her hands quite often, even though she had gloves on. She tried using hand warmers, but they only made it hard to be able to toil respectfully. Dad thought about the Heating, Ventilation and A/C in the barn plus she agreed with him. The next afternoon, she called the Heating, Ventilation and A/C company plus told them what they wanted. When the Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialist came to the house, dad took him out to the barn. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C tech told dad that she may be better off with individual Heating, Ventilation and A/C units throughout the barn. She said they could be mounted on the top of the stalls so the cows plus horses wouldn’t be able to get to them plus cause any disfigure. Dad liked the idea of the smaller units plus how they would be safer. We even had a generator installed in case the power went out.
