Sporadically I guess I’ll never be “the same” as “normal” people.
I mean, when I was a kid, I grew up in a uncommon household, then my family did not have the same financial status as most of the people in my area.
Both of us lived on a giant farm, had a minor income, & produced most of our food & clothing ourselves. Both of us legitimately lived the easy life. Both of us barely had new amenities, such as TV, indoor lighting, & central heating & cooling equipment. There were times that the two of us went without all new appliances. In fact, growing up, the two of us rarely utilized any form of indoor air temperature control whatsoever. Most of the time, the two of us relied on nature’s ventilation for our indoor air temperature control… Living out in the country on a big Farm, the two of us had awesome outdoor air quality. The weather conditions was comfortable enough & the air always felt fresh & clean. When the two of us opened our windows & fresh air came streaming in from outside, it was always so wash & refreshing. I actually enjoyed the sensation of waking up to a nice cool morning with the windows open & a breeze blowing through. As an adult, I recognize like I am a bit uncommon because of my experiences growing up. I still hate to use central heating & cooling systems. I am not a fan of my forced air furnace or the big air conditioner program outside, then honestly, I prefer fresh air anytime I can get it. I’m sure my friends & neighbors guess that I’m a real kook, especially when I opt to sleep outside in fresh air rather than utilizing my central HVAC program indoors.
