I couldn’t return the malfunctioning radiant heated flooring products so I had wasted a lot of my hard earned currency trying to repair the problem
Recently I redid the floors in the home office, I wanted to add radiant heat under the floorboard, i talked to a supplier and the tech provided me with an estimate for $8,000. I couldn’t know it was going to cost that much currency to add radiant heating in only 1 room. I went online to look at my other options. I found some thin electric heating mats that can be affixed to make a grid pattern; The thin electric heating mats were 3 square yards each. I had to buy various of the heating mats to cover all the sections of the floor. I felt proud of myself for finding a solution to the extravagant problem. I took up all of the outdated flooring and carefully put the up-to-date flooring down, however when the subfloor was finished, I put all of the radiant heating mats on the floorboards. I evaluated them carefully to make sure that they were honestly working well before I added the main flooring. I spent various days on the flooring project. When I was finished, the radiant function didn’t work. I evaluated every part twice and I had no way of figuring out the problem without breaking up the flooring again. I paid a steep price for doing the task on my own. I couldn’t return the malfunctioning radiant heated flooring products so I had wasted a lot of my hard earned currency trying to repair the problem. I should have hired a supplier and paid for the new radiant heated flooring that comes with a warranty from the replacement company. I will not make that mistake in the future when honestly working on household construction stuff.
