How to be a good Heating, Ventilation, and A/C salesperson

When I was a senior in middle school I got a task at a heating and cooling corporation down the road from our house.

  • I didn’t think anything about a/c systems, portable space heaters, or media air cleaners when I first started working, however by the time I graduated middle school, I knew several things about Heating, Ventilation, and A/C units.

Working at a heating and cooling corporation for a year offered me a head beginning on our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C job path. I worked as a store manager and memorized all of the parts in the store. I then was hired at an a/c system and furnace warehouse where I helped organize, sell, and store unusual kinds of furnaces and a/c systems. I l received about mini chop a/c systems, boiling water boiler gas furnaces, and even whole home media air cleaners! After this I went into sales, where I got to go door to door and sell portable space heaters, heating and cooling equipment for sale and miniature a/c systems. In the Winter time time I would run an extension cord from our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C truck, where I stored all of our heating and cooling equipment for sale, all the way to the door of the home I was selling to. I used this cord to power a small portable space heating system for advertisement purposes, but this proved genuinely effective! Oftentimes people would look down at the small portable space heating system and instantly be interested, especially if it was a frosty night. In the summertime I did the same thing however with a small mini chop a/c system.
