How to Install a Window Air Conditioner

Pull your owner’s manual from your library to use while I was in the upgrade process, then before you begin the upgrade process, identify a window near a power outlet because most air conditioning systems have short cords, mostly between 5 and 6 feet long, and you should also identify the side where the air conditioning system’s cord projects from to choose the official power outlet! With this out of the way, you need to gather the right tools for the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C machine upgrade process, then these tools include a screwdriver, manufacturer-provided brackets and screws, measuring tape, and scissors, then once all these are in order, you should proceed to detach the air conditioning system and locate your window’s center.

Check if all the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C equipment’s components are available… Use a measuring tape to get your window’s width and mark its center with a marker, however prepare your window by opening it and installing a weather strip provided by the manufacturer, and attach your Heating, Ventilation plus A/C equipment’s side panels! Ensure the side panels fit properly into your air conditioner machine by sliding it all the way.

Use screws to link the bendy panels to your window, then insert your air conditioning system into the window… Get help from a associate at this stage. Lift your air conditioning system and locale it at the center of your window. Close your window tightly atop the air conditioning system. You should be careful not to tip the air conditioning system outwards, for most of its weight will be outside. Install the L brackets to secure the window in site. Attach the panels. Extend your air conditioning system’s side panels towards the window if there are no paddings for your wall air conditioning system, and finally, secure your Heating, Ventilation plus A/C machine using manufacturer’s screws and brackets, and start using it.
