I am a bit confused

I work in a corporate office building. There are several companies that all work in the same building and my office is on the fourth floor. I love my job and I have been with my company for about seven years now and I am about to have a major promotion. However, I really can’t deal with how cold my office gets during the day. I understand that the HVAC system isn’t controlled in our office, but I don’t understand why it is always freezing cold and the air conditioner is blasting. I have to wear about three jackets to work everyday and I am still cold. I wear gloves while I am at my desk because my fingers are always so cold. I have previously brought up the issue to my boss, but they really don’t seem to care. They make it seem like they have more important things going on than me being cold while I am at work. I want to go to higher management and tell them, but I don’t think that would help my case either. I am going to have to just suck it up and bring in a space heater to work so that I can be productive. I know that our building doesn’t allow space heaters, but I will just have to sneak one in while the front desk lady isn’t looking. I really hope I don’t get in trouble for having a space heater, but in the end I have to stay warm and this seems like my only option. I will just use the space heater until someone tells me I have to stop.
