I am hoping my son will enjoy the HVAC career

I want our child to own the heating and A/C company that I currently own, but I am not sure if that is truly going to work out, because our child has entirely no desire to become an heating and A/C worker, when I had our son, I was sure that our child was going to follow the family legacy.

My dad was an heating plus A/C worker, and he taught me everything that I suppose about heating and A/C units, sure, our dad did not own his own Heating plus A/C company, but he gave me the skills plus the tools that I needed to own my own A/C company in the future, and I figured that our child would also want to become an A/C worker and inherit everything that I had built just for him, but it seems that our child is not interested.

If our child doesn’t want the heating company, I suppose that I am going to have to retire from the heating company and sell it to someone else. I would rather give it to my child for free, but I don’t want to force him to become an HVAC worker. Still, I think that there is plenty of time. My child is still pretty young, and he will entirely change his mind about a job path many times before he eventually settles on a plan he likes, however for now, I simply have to give him time. I figured that if I had him help repair heating plus A/C units with me at our house, he might love it. He won’t really suppose if he prefers HVAC work until he tries it for himself. If he doesn’t like working on HVAC units from that experience, after that I will suppose that it isn’t a great fit. Still, it will equip him with the experience needed to repair his own A/C units.
