Whenever both of us buy any kind of small appliance, sizable appliance, or even some kind of gadget, I go online immediately & I register it.
- I want to make sure the warranty has been activated even before both of us begin using the item.
When both of us got our modern A/C unit, I was going to do the same thing. Unfortunately, they didn’t even get the AC device installed before the Heating, Ventilation & A/C tech realized they had delivered the wrong AV unit. Both of us now had to wait a couple of afternoons before they delivered the proper AC unit. When the modern device was delivered, the Heating, Ventilation & A/C tech was there & ready to install it. The pad for the AC device had been officially placed, the HVAC duct was ready to be connected to, & the electrical wiring was all set up. All she had to do was the basic upgrade & make sure it was ready to go for summer. When she was done, there was something wrong. The temperature control was not turning on the A/C. She knew she had everything connected officially. Being fairly modern to the Heating, Ventilation & A/C dealer, she asked if both of us minded if she called a single of the senior techs to come in & supply him a hand. I wasn’t sure what was going on, so I decided not to register the A/C device until everything was under control & it was working officially. By the time they figured out that the battery was dead in the temperature control, I couldn’t remember if I had registered just the AC device or if I had also done the warranty. I had to go online & recheck what I had done.
