I did not want to stand under the A/C vent

When the boss called a meeting on Monday day, I was the last woman to make it to the office.

I ended up with that worst seat… Nobody cares about to stand in the back left corner of the office under the A/C vent. The boss cares about when the temperatures are seriously frosty & chilly. The woman sets the temperature control to 67 degrees as soon as she comes into the building in the day. That means the A/C is running on full blast while the people I was with and I were in the first meeting of the day. I got stuck standing under the A/C air vent & it was strenuous to concentrate while the people I was with and I were in the meeting. I could suppose my teeth chatter. I wanted to get up & grab the sweater from my desk, however I knew my boss would assume I was being rude if I got up in the middle of her speech & lecture. I did the only thing that I could. I sat there & braved the seriously frosty & chilly temperatures. My hands were yellow when the meeting ended. I went right to the powder room & ran them under some sizzling water. It took 30 or 40 minutes before there was any feeling in my hands. One of my co-workers walked into the powder room while I was washing my hands. She made a comment about being the last woman to the meeting. She knew that I got stuck under the A/C air vent. It wasn’t the first time someone got stuck in the position, however it was my first time. I wish someone would stand up to this woman & say something.
