I don’t have the right heater

The summer is my favorite time of year. I skateboard to and from work nearly everyday. Sometimes it gets a little too hot but being able to feel the breeze and cool air while I’m skating down declines and hills makes it bearable. When it starts getting cooler, I can generally bundle up to make the cold weather bearable. In fact, sometimes it’s quite comfortable as I can just wear a hoodie and some jeans and be good to go. But when winter rolls around, I’m out of luck. Skateboarding is one of my favorite things to do and not being able to do it bums me out. But last year, I went to a friend’s place out in the mountains and tried snowboarding for the first time. Naturally, I adapted to it right away as an experienced skateboarder. It was an absolute blast. But I was definitely not used to being outside in the cold snow. I was definitely not prepared and was not dressed adequately for the occasion. My friend noticed how cold I was and mentioned that I didn’t need to worry about it much longer. Nearly every house in that area is equipped with immaculate central heaters or furnaces. I never really appreciated these devices quite as much since the weather from my home state never got too cold. When we got back to his place he lit a fire and turned on the heater as soon as we got home. Within an hour or so I was completely comfortable and loving my time there. I’ll definitely be coming back again next year.
