I have to drive out of state

Last month, I interviewed for a job with a long haul trucking business.

I have had my CDL license for 2 years.

During the last two years, I have worked for a couple of different companies. Even though I don’t like to work overnight, most jobs that pay well will require it! Last month, I did not want to take a job that kept me out overnight. I only went to the interview because my dad knew the owner of the business, and he thought it would be a great job opportunity for me, so I went to the interview to talk to the guy. I particularly did not want to drive overnight or numerous days at a time, however the cash was too fantastic to pass up. I received payment for every mile that I drove and I also get paid for every hour I am behind the wheel. I will be now working as a delivery driver for an industrial Heating, Ventilation and A/C products business. The industrial Heating, Ventilation and A/C products supplier has an immense warecondo in this city. I am responsible for picking up Heating, Ventilation and A/C products from the warecondo and delivering them to the separate hubs around the state! On Fridays, I am responsible for driving to the next state. I have to make a single delivery there each week and I am required to stay in the truck the whole time. It’s multiple hours of driving there and multiple hours on the way home. I cannot even leave while the men are unloading. Thankfully, I have a toilet in the cab of my truck for emergencies. It’s an undoubtedly long day on the road.
