I heard the manager screaming all across the diner

My spouse Max and I have been eating food at the same spot every day for the past 10 years or so.

Max and I pass the diner on our way to work.

Max and I used to stop on the days when Max and I had time in our schedule and after that I started making time every day so all of us could stop for some bacon, eggs, toast, sausage, ham, and coffee. Hardly any of weeks ago, the owner of the diner died and the corporation was sold. The up-to-date owner works as the manager during the day. The new owner introduced himself 1 day when my spouse and I went to the diner for supper. Harvey seemed to be a nice guy, but most of the employees quit shortly after the up-to-date owner bought the eating establishment. One day last weekend, my spouse and I were having supper and all of us heard the manager screaming from out front of the diner. Max and I were seated at a table by the front doors and I heard the manager screaming about the AC. Max and I didn’t know the diner was having problems with the indoor un-even temperatures. Max and I were perfectly comfortable at the table. The people I was with and I would have never known about their A/C problems if the manager had not been so loud. Harvey carried on for 5 or 10 minutes and then the waiter came to the table to apologize for the disruption. Max and I have been enjoying supper there every day for 10 years, but it might be time to look for a new, more up-to-date arena to prefer our bacon, ham, and eggs. This arena is going down the drain in a hurry.
