I knew there were some humidity issues

Nice as that is, I’m still living so far inland that I never get a pleasant ocean breeze! I’m surrounded by forests in a swampy region, and that means it’s always uncomfortably hot.

It was a beautiful day when I finally saved enough money to afford moving out to the mountainous American west. The privilege of living in several states was mine during my childhood, and I love the weather each place had to offer. I wasn’t in the position of someone who had never left one locale their entire life, but for that same reason, I desperately wanted to leave my current home at all costs! What drives me crazy about my area is the harsh heat along with the intensive and undying humidity. I live far enough south that I’m within an hour of the nearest beach. Nice as that is, I’m still living so far inland that I never get a pleasant ocean breeze! I’m surrounded by forests in a swampy region, and that means it’s always uncomfortably hot. I’m so sick and tired of spending so much cash on keeping my air conditioner in good shape, too! It runs without pause most days, so inevitably I run into coil freeze-ups. Shutting everything down and getting the ice to melt down is just part of the fun! My air conditioner is never very good at removing enough humidity either, which is what makes it so unbearable in my own home. Having to run a portable dehumidifier all the time isn’t making my bills any cheaper! Since all this money is being sunk into servicing and repairing my A/C system, I think I can save quite a chunk of change by moving back to the cold, dry mountains out west. You can bet I won’t complain about the weather there!
