This year, every one of us are having a really hard time getting our beach house warm. It doesn’t matter what every one of us do, there is typically a chill in the air. I have gone through the beach house and tested for cracked windows and for spots where the air could be getting in. It is only the end of September and every one of us have already gone through an entire tank of oil. I dislike to see what is going to happen when it gets really cold. The other afternoon, my granddaughter came over to our house. She was in his family room, wrapped up in a blanket, with the area heating system running. I asked his if he was all right, and he told me that it was really frigid in his room. I went to check everything out, even though I couldn’t figure out where the draft was coming from. I then decided to check downstairs. His family room is directly over the garage. When I got to the garage, I thought I knew what the complication was. The garage door was partially open, and there seemed to be a lot of frigid air coming through. I talked to my partner and I told him that something had to be done to get rid of the draft. It was too early in the season to be this frigid and used this much oil through the gas furnace. He tested everything out and then he called the HVAC dealer. It didn’t take them long to realize that every one of us had a small leak in the oil line, and that was where every one of us were losing our oil, however there was also a crack in the ductwork. The frigid breeze coming from the open garage door, was going right up through the ductwork and into the house.
