I waited a whole week

I recently purchased a new home with a fairly reliable cooling system. The only concern I have had is finding the right thermostat for our new home & comfort level. I want to find the right one that controls temperature, ventilation, & humidity. No one living in the south wants to live in a new home where the comfort level is low & having the wrong thermostat creates just that environment. There are many varieties of thermostats for homes, it is just deciding which will job best for me. There are smart thermostats, programmable thermostats, mechanical, non-programmable digital, & electronic. So many choices & possibilities available the decision can be daunting. I contacted our local cooling system provider to explain the differences in each of these thermostats. The Heating & A/C specialist explained the first thermostat….the smart thermostat. This unique  thermostat basically learns about you….your habits, schedules, & other things to keep you most comfortable when you are new home & keeps the cooling system running smoothly when you are away. The next thermostat is a programmable one. Programmable thermostats can be programmed to kick on & off at preset times. It allows you to conserve energy & maximize usage in your home. Some programmable thermostats even job using WIFI & your smartphone allowing you to turn the air conditioner down when heading new home from job or if you forget to turn it off you can do that with a touch of the app on your iPhone. The next type is the mechanical thermostat. These are the cheapest & easiest thermostat out there. Finally, there are non programmable digital thermostats while can be controlled using a display.
