I was disappointed in our up-to-date oak furniture.

My child told me about this amazing locale where she bought her up-to-date furniture.

  • She kept telling me how inextravagant the furniture was & yet it was high quality & comfortable.

I couldn’t wait to go visit & check out the sofa & loveseat. I had been needing up-to-date furniture ever since our youngsters had left our home, but I hadn’t gotten around to purchase it. It seems that everytime I found the time, I didn’t have the money, or vice versa. I enjoyed the look of her furniture when I went to visit, but I didn’t find it very comfortable. I did, however, know that I should go to the furniture store & look at their sofas. She took me to the store, & both of us looked at several distinct sets. I told the salesperson that I certainally wanted up-to-date oak furniture. With the upholstery, I couldn’t tell what kind of wood it was. Everything was overstuffed, but I found 1 sofa that I really liked & I bought it. After getting it up-to-date home & trying it out for a couple weeks, I noticed that the cushions were becoming depressed & there was an odd feeling to the seats. That’s when I began to notice that the arms were a bit lopsided. Over less than a month, the oak wood was start to crack, & the upholstery was already cutting from its nail heads. I tried to take the furniture back, but they told me that it was a final sale. My up-to-date ‘oak’ furniture wasn’t real wood inside, but simply remnants of left over oak sawdust pressed into the shape of a board.
