The other day, I was enchanted by the snow.
I was just there relaxing watching all the snowflakes slowly gliding to the earth.
It was wonderful, but then suddenly something snapped me out of my reverie. There was a horrific sound that came from the basement and then suddenly the HVAC system was no longer working. This was a situation that I was pretty sure I had nightmares about. I checked the thermostat and checked the HVAC unit in the basement. I had no clue what to do but it definitely was not working. I called up the HVAC company to see what could be done. It was considered an emergency situation. I wouldn’t have been charged so much if that weren’t the case, but I was at risk of having my pipes freeze and of course I would freeze too! So they came over within the hour and my home was already ice-cold by this time. I just had a little portable heater working in my bedroom that kept me from being overly cold. I was so thankful when the HVAC technicians arrived and got the heating system fixed in no time. They told me that if I had provided a tune-up to the heating system before the winter, I would have been alright. They advised that I get regular HVAC tune-ups and told me about their HVAC service plan. The HVAC service plan sounded nice because they would cover all my maintenance needs for a reasonable cost, way cheaper than this emergency repair service was. I shouldn’t have any issues in the future with my HVAC now.
