When I got to work on Tuesday morning, I knew it was going to be a long day. My boss scheduled me to install a heat pump and an air conditioner. The job usually takes two people six or eight hours, but my boss paid me with a trainee on that day. I was ready to quit and go home, but I need the money and I can’t afford to look for another job. This HV AC repair company is flexible with my hours and days off and I even have medical, dental, and vision benefits. I was not looking forward to spending the day with the trainee. Every time he asked a question, I had to stop what I was doing and explain the answer. It’s part of the job when you have someone training, and I knew that would be the longest and worst part of the day. As long as the guy was quiet and working, we were progressing with our day.
