It’s quite nice using a heat pump

Living year after year after year in the freezing cold is finally over for me.

Living all over the nation has allowed me to experience all different types of weather conditions.

I have been snowed in at the office for almost a whole week. Then there were the hurricanes & a slew of nor’easters. But for me the worst is enduring the lengthy winters in the North. In some cases it was literally 6 months of winter that you had to survive. The gas heating equipment stays on nearly non stop. The cooling equipment hardly ever even got the dust knocked off of it in the summer weeks. I’m simply not built for this because I was raised in the South. Our heating equipment was a small wood stove that was used sparingly during the mild winters in the South. I definitely can handle those types of winters. Luckily, I live in the land of the heat pump now. And, I certainly don’t plan on leaving. The heat pump is really nice to have. It is so adaptable to be able to go from cranking out cool air during our blazing hot summer time to knocking off the chill on a winter afternoon. Our temperatures are in the upper 90’s during the summer. So, it’s very important to have reliable & efficient equipment for cooling the property. My heat pump just keeps coming through for me season after season. When it gets entirely freezing, it simply reverses flow to supply heat. Additionally, because of a particular little valve, my heat pump also heats up my jacuzzi. This heating & cooling equipment pretty much does it all.
