Janet wants to retire and leave the company to her daughter

30 years ago when June opened her maintenance business, the internet wasn’t so widespread.

Her clients did not own a computer and they did not search online when they were looking for a maintenance business, but times have actually changed in many ways.

June intends to retire in 10 years and leave the maintenance business to her daughter, however that means bringing it to the 21st century. June has seen a serious decline in sales and she knew some of that was due to her lack of online presence. The maintenance business did not have a website and she was not found when people searched online for a maintenance expert. 3 decades ago that wasn’t a big issue, however as more and more people got the internet, June saw a serious decline in sales. A few months ago she went to a business seminar and spoke with people who work on website building and search engine optimization services. They talked about the heating & A/C maintenance supplier and agreed to create a website for June. They settled on the terms for the project and the people delivered a brand new website for her maintenance business a month later. After the website was online, June had to start optimizing the website by including keywords and information for the search engine to find. This took some time and they had a lot of trial and error. Gladly, June is a patient person. Now that the website is up and running and she got the website optimized for the search engines, June is seeing monthly traffic flow numbers that are promising.
