Looking for Mr. Right

I was looking to get my furnace cleaned, a couple weeks ago.

  • I think I found more than a competent HVAC technician.

When he left my home, he gave me his business card and gave me his phone number on the back. I couldn’t believe that he wanted me to call him. I couldn’t pick up the phone. I didn’t want him to think I was forward. It wasn’t the right thing for a woman to do. A week after he was at my house, I called the HVAC company. I told them that i would like to talk to the person who had worked on my furnace. They said he was a service call, but they would have him call me on his work phone. I thanked them and quickly hung up, embarrassed for trying to call a man. An hour later, my phone rang. It was the HVAC technician. He asked if there was a problem with my furnace and I had to admit that I hadn’t even turned the furnace on yet. I could almost hear him smile and he asked why I hadn’t called. I told him I was brought up to not be that forward. He told me it was okay to call since he had already called me. I had to laugh at that logic. He was at his next HVAC customer’s house and he had to hang up. An hour later, my phone rang again. He said he had ten minutes to pass while he drove to his next HVAC inspection and he thought he would ask me for dinner..
