Me and my wife have differences within our relationship.
All couples have some kind of differences at some point, somehow.
One of which in our relationship is our individual preferences for the indoor air quality in the home My wifey likes a chilly cold home at all times. Every last one of us aren’t rich, but we make enough cash to foreseeably run the cooling system at whatever temperature we want to have it set at. Although I do myself prefer the warmer temperatures inside and outside, I have a whole closet of cozy sweaters so this isn’t the real issue going on here. What my lovely wife doesn’t understand is that evaporator coils aren’t magic pieces of HVAC equipment. They have a lot of limitations, especially with a forced air conditioning system unit in a moderate climate, like our own setup. It will be 99 degrees outside plus my lovely wife tries to keep it 73 inside; unfortunately, the evaporator coil freezes over with ice if it can’t keep up with external climate conditions as well as the settings on the control unit thermostat that sits in the hallways of our happy home. Once the evaporator coil is frozen over, it can no longer cool the air that passes through it. Every last and single one of us keep running into this issue which forces me to shut the entire heating and air conditioning down for a few minutes so the coil can thaw. My lovely happy wife doesn’t love the heat from a disabled cooling system so it might eventually stop her from abusing the thermostat’s control equipment that sits in our hallways every single day.
