The meals go in the freezer until I stick them in the oven
I am very focused on my career. After college, I entered graduate school. By the time I entered the workforce, I was deeply in debt. I have college loans to pay for. I am lucky to have found a job in my chosen field that pays quite well. I should be saving money in every way possible. Although I try to be careful about my spending, I chose to rent an apartment in one of the nicer complexes. The rent is considerable. However, I was unwilling to go without the many amenities. The complex includes a swimming pool, hot tub & sauna. Surrounding the pool is an area with sun loungers, shade umbrellas and barbecues. There’s even a tennis court. I have 24/7 access to a state-of-the-art fitness center that includes treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals and free weights. My kitchen has marble countertops and top-of-the-line appliances. I have a washer & dryer included in the apartment & a private balcony. My bedroom is huge and connects to a master bathroom. Trying to cover the cost of rent means that I need to work long hours. I’m hoping for a promotion and pay raise. I don’t have much time leftover to grocery shop or cook! Getting take-out from local restaurants is too expensive and not healthy. I needed something easy yet nutritious and affordable. I found a website that offered meal delivery service. I was impressed by the menu. I am happy with the size of the portions. I place an order for a week’s worth of dinners. Everything gets delivered to my apartment door. The meals go in the freezer until I stick them in the oven. The meal delivery service is so convenient for me. It allows me to eat well-balanced meals without a lot of time or work.
