My rabbit chewed the cord to my air conditioner.
I knew that it would happen sometime because I let my rabbits roam free in my house. I probably should not do that, but they are all house trained, and I hate to keep them in a cage all day. They are in their cages at night though because I can’t keep an eye on them while I am sleeping. I have three air conditioners in my house. I have one air conditioner in my bedroom, one in the living room, and one in the kitchen. The air conditioner in the kitchen is too high for the rabbits to reach which is nice. I close the door to my bedroom during the day, so the rabbits cannot chew the cord to that air conditioner. The living room air conditioner is the only problem. I work at a desk in my living room, so I am in there for eight hours a day at least. I watch to make sure that the rabbits don’t chew the air conditioner cord, but somehow one of them chewed the cord within the five minutes that I was out of the living room yesterday. I know which one did it too because he was still there when I came back into the room. I have no idea how he is still alive because the air conditioner was on. He chewed through the entire cord. It was basically in two separate pieces. It is definitely my fault, but I can’t believe he did it so quickly. Now, I have to get another air conditioner.
