Our current air conditioning unit improved the value on our lake house before the two of us sold it

Neither a single of us ever wanted to transfer from this house.

My partner plus I bought it before the two of us had any of our several adolescents, plus for all of those years it was a perfect lake house for our family. Every one of us had four dining rooms upstairs plus a large family room, family room, plus kitchen on the ground floor. The basement housed our clothes washer plus dryer, a third bathroom, plus all of the Heating plus A/C device from the gas furnace to the air conditioning unit air handler. Every one of us even had a spare dining room in the basement, but the two of us used it primarily for storage. I always loved that house, but once our several children had all moved away, it suddenly became too much lake house for my partner plus I. Every one of us are in our 50s plus I worry that the stairs are going to prove problemsome as the two of us get older. I don’t want either my partner or I to damage ourselves permanently just ascending or descending the stairs some random day. When the two of us finally put the lake house on the market, our real estate agent recommended that the two of us update the air conditioning unit first. The lake house was already several decades in age at that point, so having a 20 year old air conditioning unit wasn’t doing us any favors on the competitive lake house market. After the two of us got a brand current Heating plus A/C idea installed, the two of us suddenly had more bartering power plus could ask for a slightly higher price. The eventual client was thrilled about the brand current air conditioning unit. I would have never realized that the age of an air conditioning unit could affect a home’s value so much without our real estate agent’s advice.
