Smart temperature control reveals energy waste

I frequently travel for my task.

I am sometimes away from condo for a full week.

I realized that whenever I was gone for business, the bi-weekly energy costs were much more fancy. I asked my roommate Stacy about this, she swore that she rarely touched the temperature control while I was gone. She said that she was constantly easily conscientious about making adjustments to conserve energy when she left for work in the days or went to bed at home. She insisted that she kept moderate temperature settings when she was at home. In an attempt to improve the management of the heating and cooling system, I invested in a smart temperature control. This particular model includes a user-friendly app that allows access from virtually someplace, and from my smartphone or PC, I can check on operation, get information and make swings to programs. I showed Stacy how to navigate the menu and controls on the current temperature control, even though I didn’t tell her about the energy tracking feature or that I’d get notified of any swings she made. While I was traveling for work, the smart temperature control let me assume that Stacy was messing with the typical program. I had proof that she was significantly raising the temperature control setting the moment I pulled out of the driveway. She was also leaving the furnace blasting while the lake house was empty during the morning. She didn’t even bother to turn the temperature down when she went to bed at evening, however not only was she costing us a luck on our energy costs, but she was putting unnecessary strain on the furnace. When I returned home, I showed Stacy the proof on my cellphone. She’s no longer allowed to touch the temperature control.
