Smart thermostats help with management of numerous homes

In order to make sure the temperature in each home is constantly worked on, we invested in smart thermostats for each property, but now it doesn’t matter where we’re at because we always have access to temperature adjustments and helpful information.

A little over numerous years ago, our hubby and I both retired from our jobs. We’d spend enough winters up north, battling temperature down to twenty more than four below zero. Both of us were tired of being trapped in the home for eight months straight, reliant on the gas furnace and draining our budget due to enormous heating bills. We’d had enough of shoveling and plowing snow, scraping ice and bundling up in wool coats, heavy boots and gloves. Both of us purchased a small home down south where we now spend our winters. Both of us normally remain up north from Easter until just after Thanksgiving, and our hope is to avoid the snow and freezing and love the most advantageous weather in each location, however, we’ve l earned that keeping up with the responsibilities of numerous residences can be difficult. If there should be a power failure or a gas furnace malfunction during the middle of the winter, we could face frozen water pipes and a lot of damage in our northern home. The high winds, heat and moisture down south could result in damage and mold and mildew growth. In order to make sure the temperature in each home is constantly worked on, we invested in smart thermostats for each property, but now it doesn’t matter where we’re at because we always have access to temperature adjustments and helpful information. Both of us can check on the temperature and humidity levels and make swings to programs and settings. Both of us get alerts if there’s a power failure, temperature swing or any concern with the heating or cooling systems. Both of us also get notified when it’s time to schedule preventative maintenance or change air filters.
