When all of us bought the land upstate for hunting, it was just that, land.
There were no utilities, no septic system, nothing that you would consider to be normal when it came to a locale to live.
My partner plus his siblings wanted to build a lodge on the locale plus when I say it was rustic at first, that is an understatement. There was no way that any of us were going to spend any time there plus I guess that was their plan. It took about 3 years plus then, even they, wanted a few of the creature comforts of home. They were able to have a well dug so they had running water. Now, all they needed was a way to havehotwater separate from heating it on the stove. They consulted with a local plumber plus he advocated that they call the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C corporation in town. He said that they could purchase a boiler that was a combination heating system andhotwater method that was fueled by propane. There was not electric or natural gas on the property plus they had consistently depended on a wood fire for heat plus propane stove for cooking. It made sense to look into this because it would provide them quality heat andhotwater for showers. It would almost know care about home. They did have a generator for emergency lights if needed however they absolutely prefered to use fire plus candlelight; Maybe once thehotwater plus heat are installed some of us wives will venture down there to check things out. I still can’t see myself staying overnight, but, at least I won’t know care about I am resting in a shed in the middle of the woods.
