I never thought it would be the type of person who was a good homeowner, and to be truthful with you, I usually neglect my exterior environment pretty often, I’m a lot more anxious with all of the mess that is going on inside me than of my surroundings most of the week.
As such, it’s genuinely easy for me to turn a blind eye to messes in my little home and ongoing problems with my maintenance services.
I cannot pretend that I have my oil changed every 3000 miles. I cannot tell you the last time my gutters were cleaned. But recently, I have surprised myself when I have gained immense boxes of air filters in the mail and then remembered that I was the one who ordered the air filtration devices. It’s really out of character for me to really be anxious about taking care of my HVAC system the way that I have been. I suppose everything changes swiftly when you are diagnosed with life-affecting allergies! Essentially, it turns out that I cannot have mold, dander, or dust in my indoor air if I expect to breathe and live like a normal human being, and since I started seeing a specialist I have been in contact with the HVAC service and supply company down the street every few weeks. They suggested upgrading my air filters to HEPA air filtration devices, now, I’m buying my air filters in bulk and now I am remembering to perform the routine air filter swaps, too. Maybe this is the first step in a life of regular home service and care.
