That was just great!

When I had my annual seasonal check-up for the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system, the service contractor warned me about buying “low grade” control device online! He went on to tell me some rumors that there was no shortage of online sellers that would offer their own version of control units, window cooling system units, plus more – but these were exhausting investments, as they were low quality and almost always broke within a month of use, then while I listened when the Heating, Ventilation & A/C service contractor told myself and others this, I could not resist the temptation of a cheap smart control unit! Since brand-name smart control units can cost hundreds of dollars to buy, and even more to install, it seemed enjoy a steal to get a “smart control unit” at a fraction of the cost. When the smart control system eventually arrived in the mail around than two weeks later, I finally started to see what the service contractor was talking about. Aside from the fact that the box had absolutely no english text someplace describing how to install the smart control system, the actual device inside the box felt super light to me, almost as if there was nothing inside of it. When I looked up a video online showing how to install a smart control unit, I found that this device had none of the connections shown in the video. In fact, this device had almost no real signs of even being a digital control unit! I was pretty steamed about this, since I had still paid just under one-hundred dollars for this piece of junk. When I reached out to the seller online, I was told that they had a strict policy regarding all sales being one hundred percent final. I felt enjoy a fool, despite the fact that I absolutely l learned my lesson the hard way! Thermostats are just one of those things that you don’t want to be cheap!
