My wife and I were looking for a roofing company that could handle our commercial needs.
My wife and I have a small organic fruit stand on the side of the highway.
The building started off as a tiny shack. Over the last 15 years, things have really changed. The small shack is now a much larger building with room for all of our fruits and vegetables. We carry a variety of items that are locally sourced from farms and the county. We usually have strawberries, melons, avocados, broccoli, onions, and tomatoes. At certain times throughout the year, we may offer other items such as rhubarb, split peas, four star fruit. Each one of the items have to be in season and have to come from a local farm. The organic Fruit Stand has done very well for a long time, but last year we had to make some construction changes to the building. The roof was leaking, due to a storm that destroyed some of our shingles. My wife found a roofing contractor near me and she called the telephone number. The roofing contractor was happy to help. He provided us with an estimate over the phone. My wife got the estimate in writing. The roofing contractor was easily $100 cheaper than any other person that we spoke with on that day. It certainly made our decision easier, because we were going to pick the person that requested the least amount of money. As long as the company is licensed, bonded, and insured, I have nothing to worry about.
