The living area gets no AC

My siblings bought a fixer upper condo plus they plan to flip it, however everyone in the family has been going over to the condo to help replace it… The room I have been focusing on is the living room.

The living room had a popcorn ceiling plus wood walls… It looked absolutely ugly.

The first thing I did was scrape the entire ceiling. I then sanded the wood walls, put a sealant on them plus painted on top. The next thing I am working on is painting the ceiling. I suppose it is going to take 2 coats plus I need to be careful around the wood beams plus not get paint on them. The ceilings are absolutely tall plus peaked. I have to be strategic where I put my ladder, and of course I am doing the painting in the summer time too. The outside hot plus cold temperatures are in the 90s plus heat rises, then my siblings swear they had the cooling unit on plus running. I can’t hardly assume anything when I am on the top rung of the ladder stretching to paint. I have sweat run down my face, legs plus tummy. I have to be absolutely careful with hydration or I might pass out, and what is not superb is that this is an air vent way up high. The air vent technically should allow A/C to hit me directly in the face. Either there is something wrong with the ductwork or the AC, although I do not assume a thing. The living room is constantly toasty hot. Eventually my siblings need to repair this or have the condo shown in the winter.
