Let me tell you that now is not the best time to be an agent.
Scheduling walkthroughs and meetings is something that is for now not possible, except via webcam and Facetimes and other such programs.
I was just starting to really get some momentum going on my agency, and then this virus swept through the area and put all of us on lockdown for who knows how long. My next step is trying to adapt to this as best I can, I still look out for my clients and myself. The problem is this — no one wants to look at business office rentals at a time when so many businesses are on the verge of going under. Opening a business now would be like taking your seat when the Titanic was on the way down, so of course commercial office rentals are going to take a hit just like everyone else. If anything artisan lofts for rent will surge, because in a place like that a person can work and live. I feel that going forward that sort of combined space, with living areas as well as business office rentals in the same structure will continue to grow in popularity. I don’t want to say that the world of business office rentals has changed for good, but it most certainly changed for now. Trying to remain on the cutting edge of this new era in office space for rent will be difficult, but I will give it my level best. I need to continue to earn my rep as the top business office space rental agent
