The power is being drained

Every year our boss hosts a supplier retreat, just for the top level salesman and administrators. The supplier has over 500 employees now, and is still growing every single week, so he can’t afford to take most people. Instead, the top 30 or 40 employees in the supplier food chain are flown anywhere faraway for a few afternoons of meetings, conferences, and of course recreation… Last year the people I was with and I made the decision to go to a ski lodge up in the Rocky Mountains, and that was an experience I will consistently hold dear. This year the people I was with and I made the decision to go south, WAY down south, to a single of the islands off the coast, and booked a resort. My suite was amazing, with maybe the most powerful Heating and A/C plan I ever had the joy to sit in front of. When I first inspected in I stood in front of the air vents, cranked it down to maximum cooling, and didn’t transport until I got so cold I was shivering. This is something I consistently do at any hotel I stay in, because if you can’t overuse the Heating and A/C plan in a rented room, why even stay there? Anyway, the retreat itself was easily informative, and I did a lot of great not actually working, however the air quality down there is oppressively humid. I spent a good deal of our free time in our room, enjoying the wicked coldness of the cooling system. I consistently went to the beach a lot, and there was a good tiki bar right on the water that ran a little cooling system unit behind the bar.
