The protest downtown was frightening

I was on my way downtown the other day to toil on a commercial boiler compilation. I was sitting in traffic for about 30 minutes, which isn’t different due to the time of day. While I was sitting in traffic, I saw protesters lined up and down the street. It’s not different to see protesters, although I was shocked by the number of people. It looked sort of like an organized protest and I started to become distraught. Organized protests in this section can turn out awfully bad. Last year multiple people were hit and hurt badly… The longer I sat in traffic, the more people showed up to the protest. I made it to the commercial boiler repair and I spent multiple hours working on the problem. When I left downtown, I saw two police cruisers arrive at the scene. I headed over to the repair, cheerful to finally leave downtown and the horrible traffic. When I finally left the commercial boiler repair, I was alarmed to see a much bigger crowd of people surrounding the highway. I made the choice to take a few side streets, so I could get on a smaller road. I did not enjoy the look of things and I really did not want to sit in traffic for hours while people screamed and yelled at each other. Even though it took me 13 miles out of the way, I was cheerful to get back home safe and sound. When I turned on the local news at 6pm, I found out that traffic was jammed downtown and the riots and protests were getting way out of control.
