The road trip that had bad luck with A/C

My best friend and I decided to go on a cross country road trip in the summer.

We mapped out our route and all of the hotels we would stay at.

We couldn’t wait to explore new places and try new restaurants. We thought we would have the best time of our lives, but things didn’t exactly work out according to plan. We get in my car, and start driving. We kept the car windows down in the morning, but the sun and temperature got hotter as the afternoon came. I tried putting the air conditioner on in the car. However, it wasn’t blowing cold air at all. Heat was coming out. I couldn’t believe this because I just had my car serviced a few months ago. I wasn’t going to let this minor issue get me down, so we opened the windows again and got through the next several hours without air conditioning. We stopped at our first hotel and we were exhausted. When we walked into the hotel room, it was quite warm so I clicked the thermostat down a few notches. It didn’t seem like the air conditioning was working well at all. What a coincidence I thought to myself as I called the front desk. The front desk thankfully allowed us to switch rooms to have working air conditioning. The next morning, we got ready in our air conditioned hotel room and headed out to a highly rated brunch spot. We got to the brunch location and we saw people fanning themselves with their hands at their tables. We asked the waitress what was going on and she said they were having problems with their air conditioning and the HVAC company was on the way. Our road trip had bad luck with air conditioning.
