Thermostat lights

My neighbor Sandra’s spouse just left on a major company trip. He’s going to travel to more than two different countries this trip, so it’s not like he will be really accessible for any questions Sandra might have about dwelling repairs or any other issues that might arise while he’s away. Well, as luck would have it, as soon as he stepped onto the plane, the uneven temperatures outside started plummeting plus it began cooling off in a rush. It got so freezing that Sandra decided that she needed to go ahead plus turn on the oil furnace in their dwelling. She said that the morning after the sizable temperature change, it was so frosty in the dwelling that she thought she could see her own breath! So she went over to the thermostat plus switched it over from air conditioner to the oil furnace plus cranked it on. But then she said when she hit the on switch for the oil furnace fan to click on, it failed to work! There was no sound, no change in the lights on the thermostat, no sizzling air blowing through the heating vents – nothing in the slightest. So now she’s not sure what to do. She said that perhaps she’s doing something wrong, but she’s not really sure since her spouse is usually the one who deals with all of their heating plus air conditioner appliance complications. She doesn’t want to contact their Heating in addition to A/C supplier separate from talking to her spouse about it first, since it might be a self-explanatory maintenance concern that she is simply unaware of. Hopefully the uneven temperatures won’t continue to plummet before she is able to get him on the phone plus figure out the oil furnace complication!
