Unless you have been living under a rock, you easily should know that all of us have been living through some unfamiliar times lately.
A virus has the world in an uproar and has effectively shut down whole economies and normal life all over the planet. One thing the authorities have been anxious about has been the healthcare industry. In our country plus other countries, such as the UK, hospitals in particular areas have been overrun with crazy numbers of people infected with this extremely contagious virus that can have dire consequences. Well, my sister is a nurse at a hospital in the Northeast, and the stories she told were seriously frightening. Just when she expected that it couldn’t get worse, she came into work one day to be told that the hospital boilers were not working respectfully so they were about to run out of sanitized medical equipment. Like a knight on a pale white horse, one of the maintenance people made the suggestion to use a temporary boiler rental. When the hospital was initially built, the outside wall of the boiler room was equipped with the connections that were needed for hooking up a temporary boiler. Without hesitation, the hospital administrators agreed to getting a temporary rental boiler. Sadly, no plan had even been put in place for which supplier would deliver the rental boiler, how it would be taken in, and who would hook the boiler up! They were in the midst of a pandemic and having to make emergency decisions about industrial boiler rental. When it rains, it pours, correct? They did get a portable boiler room rental, and the day was actually saved. They didn’t mention it on the news, either.
