When I was growing up, my family never called a repairman once because our dad was a guy who could repair literally anything.
- It was truly excellent always having him around because he would always repair anything that ever tore up or got broken around the house.
As I got older, he was able to repair my bike, my first car, and even my jewelry whenever I had a necklace break or something like that. In other words, I became accustomed to having things fixed without having to pay for them. In other words, when I was younger, our dad actually spoiled us. But now I’m married to a guy who doesn’t know how to fix anything… He is a good guy, and I adore him, but he simply doesn’t know how to fix things. For example, our temperature control recently stopped functioning last week. My dear spouse had no idea what to do about it. Unfortunately for me, that was also the time when the weather began to cool off outside and it became cold in the house. My husband couldn’t do anything to fix it, but at least he makes enough money to pay for people like an HVAC repairman to come to our home and repair things for us whenever they break down. I used to be irritated that my husband couldn’t repair our heating and cooling systems, but at least he’s wealthy enough to hire someone to do it for us!
