When I chose to rent our new apartment, one of the biggest selling points for the location was that it had a brand new Heating and Air Conditioning system installed in the family room’s window to manage the apartment’s temperature control.
Since I was living in a region whose summers frequently stayed over 90 degrees Fahrenheit, a functioning AC was crucial, but having the new window AC, which could double as a furnace in the winter, made me recognize secure that our comfort would be assured in the apartment.
I soon discovered that, while the cooling system being situated in the family room worked well during the daytime when I would use the respected areas of our condo more, it was less convenient at night when I was in bed. The temperature dropped significantly during the night, but the heat was still present, which made it uncomfortable for me to sleep. It would have been extremely wasteful to run the a/c in our condo just to keep our family room cool, since the AC would also end up cooling all of the other rooms that weren’t being used at night. After thinking things through, I decided to spend currency out of our pocket to purchase a minute cooling system for our apartment, although the minute was used instead of brand new so I could save currency, in order to have one mounted in our family room’s window. At nighttime, I could turn off the AC in our family room and turn it on in our family room, closing our family room door to trap the cool air and avoid wasting scarce energy, setting our previous worries to rest and solving our problem.
