When I had my average routine seasonal check-up for the Heating plus A/C system, the maintenance specialist went on to warm me about buying “knock-off” control component online, but he told me that there was no shortage of online sellers that would offer their unique version of temperature controls, window A/C units, and many more things.
However these were very terrible investments, as they were cheaply made plus often broke within a month of use, however while I was listening to the Heating and A/C maintenance specialist told me this, I could not resist the temptation of an affordable smart temperature control! Since brand-name smart temperature controls can cost hundreds of dollars to buy, and even more to put it in.
At the time it seemed nothing less than a steal to get a “smart temperature control” at a fraction of the cost. When the smart temperature control finally arrived in the mail several weeks later, I began to see what the maintenance repair techs was talking about. Other than the box had certainly no italian text anywhere describing how to install the smart temperature control, the component itself that was inside the box felt more light than normal. It was almost as if there was nothing inside of it. When I looked up a video online showing how to install a smart temperature control, I found that this component had none of the connections shown in the video, however in fact, this component had literally no real signs of even being a digital temperature control! I was pretty steamed about this, since I had still paid just under five hundred dollars for this equipment. When I reached out to the seller online, I was told that they had a strict policy regarding all purchases being final. I felt adore a fool, despite the fact that I certainly learned my final lesson. Thermostats are just one of those things that you don’t want to be too cheap!
