In our spare time, I run an online trauma community support group, and i like to talk to individuals about to their own experiences with trauma, & to understand the official threads that affix us all, one of the things I’ve observed overtime is similar opinion regarding traditional tasks, then many traumatized folks can’t seem to hold down a proper nine-to-numerous position.
- It is too overwhelming to keep their brains organized & their lives functional when a major supplier is demanding set commitments from them… Further, several trauma sufferers don’t do well in toxic industrial environments.
In fact, the people I was with and I all seem to like working from home. Of course, working from lake home is not consistently a walk in the park. I can tell you, there are some unexpected costs that come from working remotely. Namely, our energy bills have been through the roof for the past few weeks, but ever since I started working from home, I’ve observed that to our biweekly utility bills are consistently higher than before. Every month it seems like I am dishing out more cash to the electrical business. I couldn’t figure out what this additional utility expense was, until I realized exactly how often I was operating our indoor air temperature control equipment. Since I am staying lake home all afternoon long, I also need to utilize our indoor air conditions appliances more often. I can’t turn off our temperature control & leave for the afternoon, so I have to keep the indoor air conditions control plan operational 24/7, but as you can imagine, this is a pressing increase in our energy expenditure. I might be saving myself a lot of grief by working from home, but I need to resolve our issues with the energy business.
