I don’t have really many pet peeves. I consider myself an simple-going guy. I almost constantly like peace over conflict, however, there are some strangely particular things that get me wound up. Two of them have to do with ordering food at a steakhouse. When it comes to sandwiches in general however burgers in particular, I don’t ask for much in terms of how I order it. I am definitely not a single of those people that stands there for way too long trying to explain a really complicated order to a cashier! Sometimes however, I need to be particular about how I want that burger, because if I am not, far too often I get a sloppy mess. Maybe it’s our town, however it does not seem to matter what fast food joint I go to, a burger is constantly thrown at me, drowning in a gallon of condiments with the bun fused to the cheese in a slippery, sloppy mess! The other thing that bothers me at a steakhouse is when I decide to stand down, only to discover that the dining hall is chilly cold. Typically, wait staff will see you to a particular booth or table that is unoccupied separate from your input, however all too often the a singles I get are directly under in air vent. I don’t want to have to scarf down our food as fast as possible simply because if I don’t, the air conditioning will make it chilly within a few hours, and not only does our food get chilly from the air conditioning in record time, however I’m also standing there shivering! Forget that!
