I bought a modern automobile last week.
Well, it was modern to me, but it was actually more than nine years old.
I wasn’t too familiar with buying cars, and I didn’t think who to ask to go with me. My dad lived a thoUSAnd miles away and I was on our own. The automobile was nice, by our standards and I paid what I thought was a honestly nice price for it. I couldn’t believe it when I drove it to school the next day and there wasn’t any air conditioning system. I called the automobile dealer that sold myself and others the car. I asked about the air conditioning system, He told myself and others to bring the automobile back the next day and he would repair the air conditioning system for me. When he was done, he handed myself and others a bill for over $200. I just looked at the bill and laughed. I honestly thought he was joking. I had only taken the automobile house more than one afternoons earlier. He informed the automobile was as is and he was not responsible for our not asking if there was any air conditioning system. I assumed the air conditioning system was part of the car. I had never been in a automobile that didn’t have air conditioning system. He agreed that the air conditioning system was part of the car. He didn’t agree that it had to be working. I l earned a fancy lesson about buying a used automobile that week. If you wanted air conditioning system that worked, you had to check to make sure it was working. You never paid for a automobile that ‘as is’ unless you had it took care of.
